Offshore Mileage Builder: Grenada to St.Lucia

  • Port Louis Marina St.George’s Grenada (map)

We’ll be sailing from the beautiful ‘spice isle’ of Grenada to the island of St.Lucia. Weaving past the spectacular Grenadines and volcanic St.Vincent, pausing to admire the iconic Pitons, this corner of the Windward Islands is simply stunning and not to be missed!

Sailors should expect to participate fully in the running of the boat and will get experience with a wide variety of skills and conditions, with none of the stress of doing it on your own.

We’re offering a booking package discount for those who want to build some serious mileage AND do some fun racing before Christmas with the beginner-friendly Mango Bowl Regatta, check out details below!

About life on board

This week is an offshore delivery, with the ultimate goal to get Panacea X safely to St.Lucia on schedule for Mango Bowl. We will make island hops to explore different anchorages, but will not be clearing customs or going ashore in the Grenadines due to time constraints. One thing this offshore mileage builder is not, is a luxury passenger vacation. Your skipper cannot do all things every day, so it’s important to come ready to pitch in and help with all the day- to-day tasks necessary to keep the boat neat and tidy and everyone fed and happy. Everyone should be prepared to take a turn preparing a meal, taking care of dishes, tidying up the cabin and we’ll work together to keep the boat ship shape throughout the cruise. Cabins / double bunks are generally shared, with a lee cloth in place to provide some personal space. This is real sailing, not the glitz of a superyacht!
