The St.Maarten Heineken Regatta is a bucket list event for most serious racers. It offers champagne sailing conditions, professionally run racing, a gorgeous location and epic shore parties. Thousands of sailors flood onto the island for the regatta each year, hailing from over 35 different countries... it all makes for an awesome festival atmosphere and incredibly competitive racing. The race organizers are serious about delivering on their #seriousracing #seriousfun brag-line!

The St.Maarten tourism bureau pretty much nailed it with this: “Come to where European sophistication and Caribbean island passion have fallen in love. Where boredom is a forbidden emotion. A magical place.” They may be laying it on a bit thick, but not by much. St.Maarten is beautiful, the food is excellent, the drinks are cold, the beaches are fantastic... it’s a perfect island to hold one of the most fun sailing regattas in the world!!

Panacea X has a strong history with the Heineken Regatta, having won her class not once but TWICE in the last three years!! We run in a very tough, competitive class, racing against some of the nicest teams you could hope for- all in all making for a fantastic week of great sailing!
